About

Upon jumping into research, it struck me that I was more or less putting together a wikipedia article. That being the case, I decided it would be best to simply link to preexisting articles, as well as charity organization, Represent Me.

You can pursue further knowledge on your own if you're interested.

I won't provide any personal experience or anecdotes, except for my own approach in one of my games, The Bounty V2.

As you're playing an avatar of yourself, I included 25 or so unlockable character skins so that you can represent yourself in a whole myriad of ways, and these don't give you any advantage or disadvantage. The only personal bit I crammed in there is making the default look a woman of color; primarily because that was how I pictured the character, but also in the case that a player is uncomfortable playing a character looking like that, I could make them squirm a little.
